The work under this contract involves the reconstruction of 370m of Tenth Line and 110m of the adjacent slope, located at Lot 29/30 between 27 Side Road and 32 Side Road. This includes the installation of a terramesh wall system to support the roadway and secure the section of slope that is failing. Works involve granular removal, clearing and grubbing, excavation, culvert removal and installation, cable guide rail removal, steam beam guide rail installation, multiple new ditch applications, installation of the terramesh wall system (including a drainage layer, geogrids, meshwall system),installation of turf reinforcement mats, georidge installation, and associated restoration works.
